Jack Caldwell Memorial Scramble August 14

2-Person Scramble on Monday, 1 PM | August 14

In loving memory of Jack Caldwell, who recently passed away at 99, we gather to honor a remarkable man and avid golfer. Jack’s passion for golf led him to build his home near the #12 tee box of Port Townsend’s golf course in 1994, where he found serenity and joy. The land held a special significance, once being his ancestor’s fruit orchard, connecting him to his roots and the history of the area.

For nearly three decades, Jack became a beloved figure in the community, a familiar face and a daily presence on the Port Townsend course. His warmth, camaraderie, and sportsmanship touched the hearts of many, making him an integral part of the golfing family.

As we celebrate his life and legacy, the Caldwell family has organized a special golf scramble in Jack’s honor. This event commemorates his love for the sport and adds a touch of fun and excitement. Throughout the course, you’ll encounter surprises thoughtfully placed by the Caldwell family, adding a joyful twist to your game.

To participate in this memorable event, we invite all golf enthusiasts to sign up or call the clubhouse at 360* 385* 4547 to add your name. Let’s come together as a community, just as Jack did throughout his life, and celebrate the joy of golf while cherishing the memory of a remarkable man.
